Board Game Tournament Games

All the Board Game Tournament Games can be played by up to 20 players at the same time. They can also be played as standalone games outside of a tournament. This makes them excellent for parties and group gatherings.

Normally board games involve one playing board and all players placing their playing piece on the START square. Players then take it in turns to roll a dice and move their playing piece the appropriate number of squares. This is fine when you have a small number of players. However once you have five or more players there is a large amount of "downtime" for each player as they wait for their turn to come round again.

PartyPDF's Board Games overcome this by giving each player a unique playing board. This enables one player (the Game Host) to - for example - roll a dice and announce the number thrown. Then all players move their playing piece this number of squares on their playing board. Because all the boards are different, the effect of this movement will be different for each player. For instance in "Snakes, Ladders & Farmyard Animals", a roll of three may cause some playing pieces to land on the foot of a ladder, others to arrive at the head of a snake and yet more to land on a farmyard animal bonus!

This means that there will be no "downtime" for any players. This results in an exciting game in which all players are constantly involved leading to an entertaining and memorable boardgame party!

Incidentally not all the games are roll and move dice games. The "Pumpkin Jack" and "Guess Whose Christmas Present" games are question and answer based. "The Christmas Dinner Game" has players taking it in turns to call out which way everybody should move. "Race Around Europe", though dice based, is a take on Monopoly. "Mutant Beetle Drive" and "9 Card Animal Shade-Off" require players to shade in their animal.
