Team Games & Challenges
The PartyPDF team games and challenges can be played by up to 20 players. Players will be split into 4 teams (red, blue, green and yellow).
Murder at the Museum
In "Murder at the Museum" each team needs to discover the solution to the murder of Professor McNasty at the Merrymurder Museum. They will be given a list of suspects, weapons and locations as well as a pack of clue questions. 8 museum exhibits will be displayed around the party location. These exhibits can be used to answer the clue questions which in turn will lead to various suspect, weapons and locations being eliminated. When a team has successfully solved all their clues they should be left with three uneliminated items. These will be the murderer, the murder weapon and the murder location. They can then check their solution with the Party Host to see if they have solved the murder correctly.
Although each team has the same set of suspects, weapons and locations, they each have a unique set of clues. The solution to each team's challenge is also unique. This means that no team can gain an advantage by listening to another team's discussions.
In the personalised version of this game them the suspects will all be party guests. Similarly the weapons and museum exhibits will all have been loaned to the museum by your party guests.
"Whodunnit" Game
This game works differently in that all teams are trying to solve the same crime. The winning team will be the team that solves it first. Teams will be taking it in turns to propose a solution to the crime. Each proposal will give all teams some information though this information will not be the same for all teams. The information they receive will influence the proposed solution that each team proffers on their turn. Eventually, by a combination of logic, deductive reasoning and observing hte reaction of other teams to information received, one team will be able to propose the correct solution to the crime. This team will be the winner.
The "Whodunnit" game can be replayed as many times as you wish as the solution will always be different.
In the personalised version of this game then the suspects will all be party guests. Similarly the weapons will all belong to various guests and the murder locations will also be establishments owned by some of your party guests.
