Aim of the Game

To navigate the snakes, ladders and farmyard animals on the board and be the first player to reach the finish on square 100.

Full Details

Each player will have their own snakes and ladders board. Each board has its own unique layout of snakes, ladders and farmyard animals. Each player places their playing piece on square 1 of their board. The party host rolls a dice and announces the number rolled. All players now simultaneously move their playing piece this number of squares. Because all the boards are unique, this number will cause different effects on different boards. If a playing piece lands on the foot of a ladder then it is moved up the board to the top of the ladder. If a playing piece lands on a snake's tongue then it is slid down the snake's body to the square at the end of the snake's tail. If a playing piece lands on a farmyard animal bonus square (cat, dog, pig, sheep, donkey or rooster) then it is moved forward the appropriate number of squares but only if the player loudly makes the animal's noise! The first player to land exactly on square 100 is the winner.
