Murder Mystery Game/Book Types
- Full Evening Murder Mystery. These games will last a full evening. They should therefore be the only entertainment planned for your party.
- Hour-long Murder Mystery. The "Murder in an Hour" games take approximately one hour to play. Therefore you can combine these games with other party entertainments. If you are hosting a murder themed party then The Whodunnit Game is a good choice.
- Murder Mystery Team Challenge. For up to 4 teams of 5 players each. Teams race to eliminate suspects, weapons and locations. They do this by solving their 10 clues using information obtained from the various exhibits around the room. Each team has a unique set of clues and the solution for all four teams is different!
- Whodunnit Team Game. For up to 4 teams of 5 players. Teams take it in turn to guess a suspect, weapon and location. All teams (not just the guessing team) gain information from the guess but it is different information for each team. Clever guessing, logical thinking and paying attention to other team's guesses will allow one team to guess the correct solution first and win the game. Instantly replayable with a different solution.
- Whodunnit Puzzle Book. These books feature a crime. The detective needs to eliminate suspects, weapons and locations by solving the word, number, logic and picture puzzles within the book. They make ideal prizes to be awarded at the end of a murder mystery game.
- Whodunnit Puzzle Sheet. A much simplified version of the Whodunnit Puzzle Books, these puzzle sheets can be attempted by players while waiting for other guests to arrive. Difficulty Ratings
- Level 1 Difficulty - Beginner. These puzzle books and puzzle sheets are the easiest challenges. Containing no more than 12 puzzles, the detective has to simply solve the puzzles to eliminate suspects, weapons and locations until the solution is found.
- Level 2 Difficulty - Intermediate. These puzzle books contain extra suspects, weapons and locations. They also contain more puzzles than the level 1 books. All the suspects in the book have their own personal puzzles. The puzzle belonging to the murderer will be trying to mislead you by making you eliminate either the guilty weapon or the guilty location. Therefore you cannot trust the results of any suspect's puzzle until you have eliminated that suspect.
- Level 3 Difficulty - Super Challenge. These puzzle books have at least 10 suspects, 10 weapons, 10 locations and over 30 puzzles! As in the level 2 books all the suspects have their own personal puzzle and the murderer is once again trying to mislead you. But now, amongst the other puzzles, are two red herring puzzles that are also trying to direct you away from the correct solution. Finally, from amongst the information provided by the puzzles, you also have to discover the motive for the crime!
Puzzle Types
- Word Searches. Find the hidden words in the grid. The unused letters will often help you eliminate suspects, weapons and locations.
- Word Jigs. Fit the listed words into the grid. Either marked squares in the grid will help you eliminate items or words that do not fit into the grid will help you eliminate items.
- Mazes. If you can find the correct way through the maze you will be able to make some eliminations.
- Arrow Trails. Follow the arrow movements around the grid and at the end of your journey you will find something to eliminate.

Hidden Words. Spot the words cunningly hidden within a sentence. E.g. "When the ogre entered the room his brow narrowed."
Whodunnit Sweepstakes
