Aim of the Game

To be amongst the first three players to cross off all 15 items on their Animal & Bird Bingo Board.

Overview

Each player has an Animal & Bird Board which displays 15 items. Each board has 3 items from each of the following 5 categories:

• Native to South America
  
• Can Be Fatal - Treat with Respect
  
• Animal Homes - But Who Lives There?
  
• BIG Birds
  
• Beatrix Potter Characters - But what were they?
  

The Game Host has a shuffled pack of playing cards and a "Playing Card to Bingo Item" conversion chart. They deal cards one at a time and using the conversion chart, call out a bingo item. If players have this item on their card they mark it off.

When a player has marked off all the items on their card they call out "Animal & Bird Bingo". The first three players to do this are awarded first, second and third places respectively.

Finally all remaining players work out their total "bingo points". These are calculated from the items they have crossed off during the game. They score:

• 5 points for every item they have crossed off.
• 25 points for every category where they have crossed off all three items.

The player with the greatest number of bingo points is awarded 4th place. A booby prize can also be awarded to the player with the least number of points if you wish.
