Ten little vampires, and me a vampire fake.
The first is bled, Upon his bed
When I hammer him with my stake...

Nine little vampires, now in quite a state
The next I dispose with an overdose
And I'm left with just the eight...

Eight little vampires, going down to Devon
A splash, a crash, and in a flash
I now have only seven...

Seven little vampires.  Me with a crucifix.
I sport my cross, and another loss
Leaves me with just the six...

Ten strangers are invited to a fabulous mansion on Vampire Island off the coast of Devon. Though they all have blood curdling secrets to hide, they arrive hopefully on a late October evening.  But soon a series of sinister events take place.  Their host, millionaire Ivan Glensh, unaccountably fails to turn up.  A hidden voice accuses each of them of a heinous crime.  A mysterious poem suddenly appears at breakfast.  And it soon becomes apparent that not all of them will be leaving the island alive...
