Prince Charmless, Ruler of Pantomimia, has been murdered!  Killed by a sword wound to his heart during the last of his five "wife-finding" balls.  Nine characters are deemed particularly suspicious...

• Queen Honoria - The Wicked Step-Mother - Wife of the late King Ludwig

• Captain James T Hook - The Rogue - Adventurer of the High Seas

One or more of the above nine suspects murdered Charmless.  A panel of courtier investigators have been invited to help:
