Aim of the Game

To be the player who has lost the least money after participating in 7 rounds of very risky investments!

Full Details

Each player has their own investment board. There are 7 sections on the board, one for each of 7 rounds of investments. The term 'investment' is used loosely as the players can never make any money but can always lose it!

Each round is a different type of investment. E.g. Racehorses, films, mining. Round 1 is banking. The round 1 section of the board lists 6 different banks. However two of these are crossed out. The crossed-out items vary from board to board meaning that all boards are different and all players will have different investment options. This allows all players to play the game simultaneously but obtain different results.

Each player starts with 10 coins. They need to allocate these over the 6 banks. However they cannot place any money on the two crossed out banks. Nor can they place more than 5 coins on any one bank.

Once everyone has allocated their money the party host rolls a dice which causes one of the banks to crash! Any player who has money invested in that bank loses it. Players gather up their remaining coins and move onto round 2 which is mining. They again invest their money. When they have done so two of the mines will flood losing any money invested in them. The remaining 5 rounds work in a similar manner.

The winner is the person who has the most money remaining at the end of round 7.
